The title of this post could be metaphor for my life lately.
Between the return of my panic attacks, prepping for our first ever
"back to school" time and sleep training Oren on top of all that...
the last few weeks have been lacking in the sleep department.
But luckily, it isn't only a metaphor for my life.
Insomnia is also a really delicious new cookie shop downtown!
Delicious and genius. Get this, they will deliver hot cookies right to
your door, day or night. That is unless you live past Highland Square,
like we do. Then you gotta go get your cookies your own damn self.
apparently, a dozen cookies just wasn't enough.
Insomnia Cookies - Oren approved.
Ben and I frowned so hard at this post. Like this:

We NEVER pass up on the cookies! Plus we bet it will close in 6 months since their delivery radius only includes hobos and students.
We are horrible. I'm sorry. I promise to make it up to you with many, many trips to purchase warm chocolate chip cookies before their inevitable demise.
DeleteThanks so much. I have given up sugar, but now all I'll be able to think/dream about is a melty chocolate chip cookie. Swell! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow is sleep training going? We did it and it saved our lives! Not fun at all, but worth it.
yeahhh, sleep training is...going. No, actually it hasn't been too bad. We've co-slept up until now. But Oren is getting so big and he's into everything it's getting harder and harder and more dangerous not having him in a crib. Plus mommy and daddy are ready to have their bed back too. We're toughing it out. It's only been a few days and it's already gotten easier. I think we will make it!
DeleteYou can do it! Sometimes I miss having her in our bed, but getting 8 hours of interrupted sleep is pretty nice too!
DeleteIf you give Ori enough of those cookies before bed he will just pass out from sugar overload and sleep through the night - don't forget to include a cup of warm milk with the cookies!!! : )
