It appears, as long as all continues to go as planned (inspections, appraisals etc.) we have officially sold our house and bought a new one!
(forgive the low quality picture, it's from the realtor's website)
It's a dreamboat of a house too. I mean, I was just hoping we'd be able to find a good house in a decent school district, but we found THE house in an excellent school district. She's over 100 years old, but in fantastic condition, it needs a few cosmetic touch ups here and there, but the bones of this beauty are to die for. It has been so well taken care of over the years, I'm actually a little nervous about taking over the reins. But...not that nervous ;)
I've already started planning paint colors and furniture layouts and dreaming about all the things I want to do to make it really ours. It's also in a whole other city! Which is weird to think about considering I've been a life long Akronite (give or take a few brief stints in college). But in truth, it's only about 25 minutes away from where we live now, so it's really not that that big of a leap.
Now that we're finally here I'm excited, nervous, grateful and so ready to take this next step in our lives.
Here's to dreams coming true and the next big adventure on the horizon!
