A Mother's Day Post

posted on: Friday, May 16, 2014

Better late than never, right? I figured I should probably post these pictures before a whole other weekend passed, so here we are. My mother's day was actually pretty great. Mostly because what we did was eat alllllllll day long. My boys know the way to this mother's heart is most definitely through her very pregnant stomache. There were presents, sure. A new pair of sandals and some homemade gifts from the boys (a big thank you to Wes's teacher and our favorite Miss Lori for always sending home something special this time of year). But really, the food was where it's at.

Jack Flaps in Ohio City for breakfast...
Followed by an afternoon at the Cleveland zoo.
a late lunch of ice cream at Sweet Moses in Gordon Square
And dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Beachwood, hold the cheesecake please.
We opted for a caramel apple from around the corner for dessert instead.

It was a very fulfilling day, to say the least. Thank you to my sweet family for all the extra love and calories. But mostly, it was just fun to spend the whole day with the people I love the most.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
