on christmas eve we made reindeer cookies for santa and got to
use the cookie plate and mug my grandmother gave us last year.
then we opened presents with josh's dad's side of the family
(or should i say wes opened all the presents).
we also visited josh's grandparents house that night too,
but sadly didn't manage to take any pictures so there's
no evidence of the AH-MAZING cannolis his grandpa made.
....later, we came home,
set out carrots for the reindeer and read the night before christmas
and finally(!) after the boys were asleep
we got to be busy elves, filling stockings and setting out presents.
christmas eve is, hands down, the best night of the year to be a parent.

@Marisa It's the most exciting part of christmas now! Knowing I'm creating the magic is the best! It's almost as good as being a kid again :)
