We're going on a little vacation at the end of this week and we won't be in town for father's day (poor planning on our part!) To make up for it, we celebrated a week early with a cookout at our house for my dad. Our guest of honor requested shish kabobs and homemade strawberry milkshakes - and we were more than happy to oblige!
So a happy early father's day to my dad!
...and as a side note, we are heading up to northern michigan for a few days to visit sleeping bear dunes and traverse city. If any of you have any tips or must sees (or let's be serious here - must eats) let me know!
