Year in Review, 2011

in the beginning, things looked a little different

i looked like this

(24 weeks pregnant face)

oren looked like this

wes got a big boy room

and josh got busy fixing up a nursery

 and i grew

and grew

  

and grew some more

then my water broke.

and we had a baby in the NICU

and then we didn't

and suddenly three became four

and somehow we survived.

we made it home just in time for the easter bunny

and mother's day

and then spring turned to summer

and two year olds turned three.

and somehow we survived.

but the seasons kept changing like they always do.

we said goodbye to georgia and

maternity leave and colic 

(and somehow we survived).

meanwhile babies kept growing...

and growing

and growing some more

and so did my heart, 

stretched to unimaginable proportions

and somehow we survived.

it was a good little year,

full of lots of big things.
here's to the next one.
