Weston's First Days

posted on: Sunday, February 3, 2013

last picture before heading to the hospital. so much pregnant face happening here.

At 2:47pm on August 20th, 2008 Weston Silas Booth came into this world. He was a week early, 8lbs 6oz, 20 inches long and not breathing (apparently setting the precedent). He came out sunny side up and much to my surprise, looking just like me. He was everything I ever wanted yet nothing I ever expected. My son, my first. My everything and the rest of my life.

Interesting to note that Wes still makes similar facial expressions. Specifically picture 25.

    1. Picture 25, yes. And also, I overdo the pics a bit when you have to count to 25 to get to the one you're referencing haha! Also, Patty totally won for best reaction at the birth. The part you don't see is her saying "Why did I wish he was a girl? He's perfect! Wahhhhhhh!" Lol.

  4. I love looking back at this great moment! It's funny how at each stage of Weston's life he is always the cutest to have ever been at that stage. He was the cutest newborn ever, he was the cutest chubby sweet baby ever, he was the cutest little one year old ever, cutest two year old ever, the cutest your becoming a real person ever, and I am sure you get the point. But the best part is that each stage Weston ups the ante. It's like how can you get any cuter, smarter, funny, and just all around the most awesome-est kid EVER? And then I am even more overwhelmed when I see Oren and know that he is completely following in Weston's awesome-ness foot steps. They are so different but they are equally my two favorite children in the entire world and the most awesome-est kids EVER!
