Twas annual Family Fall Day so we put on our brave faces and fourteen layers of clothing and headed to the pumpkin patch. We never time this right so we are always either sweating or freezing when we do this each year. 2018 proved to be the latter. That was the coldest hay ride of my life.
Hot cider and motivational speeches got us through. "We're having so much FUN, right guys?!"
these folks are troop-ers.
Then it was home for mulled cider, homemade donuts and pumpkin carving. (Or painting if you're Ever). Oren managed to get three adults to carve his pumpkins for him and Marisa slayed hers as always. We ended the day with bowls of chicken noodle soup and "it's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown" so I'd call that a success all in all.
Happy fall, y'all!
