I got into San Francisco early one morning in November the day before a big meeting and had the whole day wide open. On a whim I decided to point my rental car south and head down the coast to Big Sur. With stops in Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea if I hadn't already been completely bowled over by the beauty of California this trip surely sealed the deal.
Best decision ever.
